Classification: Achondrite Eucrite, melt breccia W-low/S-high
Time/Place: 2024 in Algeria
Mass: 3kg (two specimens)

History: Reportedly found near Ouargla, Algeria and subsequently purchased from a local dealer.
Physical characteristics: Three fragments largely covered by fresh fusion crust.
Petrography: Achondritic melt breccia composed of up to 4 cm sized bulk rock clasts separated by abundant black finely recrystallized shock melt veins. Clasts are composed of about 30 to 100 partly lath-shaped exsolved pyroxenes and calcic plagioclase. Proxenes often poikilitically enclose rounded to subrounded plagioclase grains. Mineral grains entrained in the melt veins frequently show resorption textures. Minor phases include chromite, ilmenite, and FeS. No metal detected.
